GoonRock (* 18th April 1975 in Trenton , New Jersey as David Jamahl Listenbee ) is an American record producer and musician .

Raised in Trenton, he moved to Los Angeles at a young age . There he met the future LMFAO singer Redfoo and will.i.am in junior high school . In 2009 he started producing for LMFAO. He co-produced and co-wrote the song We Came Here to Party . He produced the worldwide number one track Party Rock Anthem from 2011 together with Redfoo and was also featured in the music video as a singer, but only in the chorus together with the LMFAO members. He also produced the tracks Champagne Showers and Sexy and I Know It on LMFAO's Sorry for Party Rocking album .

For the 2013 film The Great Gatsby , he contributed the song A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got) together with Fergie and Q-Tip .
