Martin Solveig
Martin Solveig (* 22. September 1976 in Paris ; actually Martin Laurent Picandet ) is a French House - DJ and producer , who in 2004 with the single Rocking Music , 2010 Hello and 2015 Intoxicated hits could land. In some of his songs he also takes on the vocal part.
biography
As a child, Martin Solveig sang in a church choir and engaged in classical music . At the age of 13 he got his first turntables and played for friends. When he was 18, the Frenchman worked in a record shop and was interested in electronic music . A short time later he became a DJ in a number of renowned clubs in Paris. 2001 Solveig worked with Bob Sinclar on his mix album Africanism and contributed the title Edony . After graduating from college , he released his first own CD suite in 2003 . It also contained a remix of Madan , a song by Malian singer Salif Keïta , which was to be Solveig's first chart hit.
To date, five of the French musician's albums have made it into the domestic charts, but various singles, including Everybody (2005) and Rejection (2007), have reached the top of the European charts . Hello (with Dragonette ), released at the end of 2010 , entered the German , Austrian , Swiss , British , US and French single charts. In the 2010 music video for the song Hello by him and Dragonette, he played a game of tennis against Bob Sinclar .
After his success in Europe, Martin Solveig produced Madonna's single Give Me All Your Luvin ' at the end of 2011 , which was released on February 3, 2012 and immediately took top positions worldwide. The 2013 single Hey Now , which was recorded together with The Cataracs , again reached the top 10 in Germany. The single Intoxicated , released in 2015, was awarded a platinum record by the Federal Music Industry Association.
