Rhine-Herne canal ship

The Rhine-Herne Canal ship was originally developed for the dimensions of the locks of the Rhine-Herne Canal , before its expansion for large motor ships . After the Second World War, the Johann-Welker-Schiff was designed after the Rhein-Herne-Kanalschiff and in the 1960s the Europaschiff . According to the classification of the European Conference of Transport Ministers (ECMT) in 1992, the Rhine-Herne Canal ship has the following dimensions:
