Wild Wild Love is a song by the American rapper Pitbull in collaboration with the American girl band GRL The song was released on February 25, 2014 as the first single from Pitbull's eighth album Globalization . The song was written by Pitbull, Max Martin, Dr. Luke, Michael Everett, Ammar Malik, Alexander Castillo Vasquez, Cirkut . Production was done by Dr. Luke , Max Martin and Cirkut.
criticism
Mike Wass from Idolator described the song as a "killer single", he criticized some passages from Pitbull as questionable, he still injected humor into the song. Steve Adams of the Winnipeg Free Press gave the song 2½ stars out of 5. He said the song wasn't terribly intrusive, but it wasn't great either. It is a typical "gap filler song"
Commercial win
Wild Wild Love has been a moderate success commercially. The song reached number 30 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has sold 752,000 copies to date. In the British single charts the song reached number 6, while in German-speaking countries it could not reach the official single charts. Wild Wild Love achieved further top 10 placements in Australia, Belgium and Norway.
The song went platinum in Australia and Canada. In Denmark, the song received a gold record for streaming views .
Music video
The video was shot in February 2014 in Los Angeles at Playboy Mansion and in Miami at Villa Vizcaya. The video premiered on March 31, 2014 on Pitbull's Facebook profile.
