Dr. Luke (born September 26, 1973 in Westerly , Rhode Island as Łukasz Sebastian Gottwald) is an American musician , songwriter and producer of Polish descent who worked with Max Martin on hits by Kelly Clarkson , The Veronicas , Pink and Katy Perry was involved.

Litigation with singer Kesha

In January 2014, shortly after the singer Kesha was admitted to a rehabilitation clinic for severe bulimia , the singer's mother made serious allegations against Dr. Luke as her daughter's manager. He put massive pressure on her to lose weight; Dr. Luke said that Kesha looked "like a refrigerator". He denied these allegations.

In October 2014, Kesha sued Dr. Luke on charges of sexual harassment and assault and rape . He responded with a counterclaim against the allegations and stated that Kesha wanted to achieve a change of management with the lawsuit. An application for an injunction against Dr. Luke was dismissed by the competent court on February 19, 2016.

He and Martin work with Paris Hilton . For the soundtrack of Eragon - The Legacy of the Dragon Riders , he wrote the song Keep Holding On with Avril Lavigne and worked on their album The Best Damn Thing . He was also involved in the following projects:
