Woroc is a Croatian-born rapper and producer from Berlin-Kreuzberg . He is best known as a member of the Berlin hip hop group VS Mafia .

biography

During the Bosnian War , which ran from 1992 to 1995, he served a year and a half military service in the crisis region.

In 2004, Woroc began producing beats and founded the Vatoz Music label . However, a short time later he founded the VS Mafia together with the rapper Colos , who had previously owned the Streetsoul label , and its VS Recordz label included Vatoz Music and Streetsoul. After a short time, the rappers ST Pain and Chagome, as well as the producer Kazanova were added to the crew. Furthermore, musicians outside the crew such as Dissput and Deso Dogg were won on VS Recordz for future releases .

The Berliner mainly uses MIDI keyboards in his productions and does not use samples. Woroc began rapping in 2006, where his distinctive voice became his trademark.

He also appeared as the main producer of the album Blut gegen Blut des Rappers Massiv , which appeared as a re-release via Sony BMG in July 2007 and entered the album charts at number 55. Woroc produced the first single on this album when the moon crashes into my ghetto together with Kazanova.

His own producer album Inferno was released on March 23, 2007 and contains guest contributions by Fler , Dissput, Massiv , Boxxxstar, Manny Marc , Aci Krank, Smoky and Frauenarzt, among others . Woroc was also represented in 2007 both as a producer and with a rap contribution on the album Leben im Exil by his crew colleague Colos, which was released via Mellowvibes Records .

On June 22, 2007 the VS Mafia album Brennpunkt Berlin was released. The sound carrier, on which Deso Dogg, MOK , Kitty Kat, Kaisa and Massiv are represented with guest parts, was almost entirely produced by Woroc. Furthermore, Woroc took over the complete production of Chagome's album Freier Fall in 2007.

In 2008, Woroc was involved in the creation of the Geeni'z album by rapper Deso Dogg and Jasha as executive producer. The music was produced entirely by him. On the album rappers like MC Bogy , Lil Deso and Stan da Man are featured with guest contributions. Furthermore Woroc is one of the main producers of the album Young, Brutal, Handsome by Kollegah and Farid Bang .

The documentary 24 hours in the streets of Berlin was created in 2009 and was released on DVD on May 22, 2009. Berlin rappers such as King Zaza, Hammer & Zirkel, Joe Rilla , MOK and Massiv introduce themselves here. Woroc had been planning the project for a long time and the content was finally shot in one day. The hip-hop musicians involved were included in the production without having been initiated beforehand, so that the majority of the scenes were created spontaneously.
