Musically he represented the Miami Bass with German lyrics, later his music turned more to ghetto tech . Many of his tracks have a strong 80s electro character with dry TR-808 beats. He performs his performances with extraordinary physical effort, mostly in connection with dancing, scantily clad women. He often performs live with DJ Manny Marc . On November 21, 2006, a raid was carried out on the premises of the former label Ghetto Musik, founded by gynecologist and DJ Manny Marc, in which CD-Rs, laptops, documents and albums were confiscated.

On June 19, 2007, a video clip by gynecologist was shown for the first time in the hip-hop show MTV Urban . The video for the song Burns the Club, which was featured on the album Dr. Sex can be found, was also up for grabs on the music show Urban TRL on the same day and immediately took first place on the TRL Most Wanted .

On December 21, 2009, the gynecologist was sentenced to a fine of 8,400 euros for depicting violence and distributing violent pornographic writings based on earlier works (the recordings affected are porn mafia and business is business ). In an interview on March 9, 2016, the gynecologist stated that he had also been given a five-year probation period, during which he had to withhold textually.

Career since working with Manny Marc as Die Atzen

The first collaboration between the gynecologist and the then DJ Manny Marc came about when the Bassboxxx label was founded in 1997. In 2006, both founded the Ghetto Musik label , which was finally renamed Atzenmusik .

Collaboration singles appeared again and again under the title Frauenarzt & Manny Marc until they started working under the title Die Atzen , since the first successful single Florida Lady . This was published in September 2008.

In 2009 the song Das geht ab! (We celebrate all night) from the album Atzen-Musik Vol. 1 to the summer hit in the discos of Palma . The gynecologist and Manny Marc therefore traveled to the Riu Palace disco every Sunday to present their joint hit. The song reached number 8 in the singles charts in Germany and was able to place high in the top 100 in all of the German-speaking countries in Europe.

At the beginning of 2010 the next single Disco Pogo by Frauenarzt and Manny Marc was released, although they were only named by their name Die Atzen . The piece reached number 12 in the charts in the first week, in the following week it even rose to number 6 in the top ten and shortly afterwards to number 2, giving the single a better ranking than Das geht aus! (We party all night) .

His latest single was released in August 2012. It was the second and last single from the album. Was it celebrating? OK! and was mixed by the Swiss DJs DJ Antoine and Mad Mark . However, they could not achieve single-chart placements with the dubstep song.

criticism

Gynecologist was formerly known for his pornographic and sexually revealing texts, which were heavily based on the Miami Bass of the 1980s and 1990s. His publications Untergrund Solo Vol. 2 were indexed in 2004 by the Federal Testing Office for Media Harmful to Young People. The albums Porno Party and Tanga Tanga 2003 may no longer be freely purchased in stores since February 16 and March 16, 2005 respectively. He was also one of the rappers named by SPD politician Monika Griefahn (chairwoman of the media committee in the German Bundestag) when she called for greater control of rap songs and videos on radio and television in June 2005 (although it was had not given a public performance of him on radio or television). At the time, gynecologist argued that his music was only an artistic expression that reflected his life or the reality in his real environment. Many of his texts were inspired in his youth by visits to Berlin brothels and so-called "drinking parties" as well as the environment and life in the Berlin street gang Berlin Crime. He later drew attention to himself through various features with the artists of Aggro Berlin , for which he received some criticism in his fan circles .

On April 19, 2007, a report on the so-called "porn rap" was shown on the ARD program Polylux . The focus was on the rappers B-Tight , King Orgasmus One and Frauenarzt. In the report, the gynecologist stated that he was aware of the influence of his texts on the sexual development of young people , but that he did not see it as his task to pay attention to how younger people perceive "porn rap". The report's authors concluded by warning that many fans of the listed rappers take the sexist and pornographic lyrics of the songs seriously. In September 2010, the Federal Inspection Agency for Media Harmful to Young People announced that the album More Coal: Atzen Make Trouble by Gynecologist and Chuky & Smoky had been indexed.

Tape BC

A BC album was also being planned for the Wet Pussy Digital label : Frauenarzt began producing bass beats in his and Mr. Long's home studio using an Ataris, Emax 'II and a drum computer. At the same time BC partially took over the management of the Rap & Freestyle Cafe Royal Bunker . In the middle of the pre-production time of the BC tape, Jope (also a BC member) told about a producer from Kreuzberg called Mach One (from Die Lätzten). After getting to know each other for a short time, the two understood each other perfectly. In Mach One's 4 m² studio (called “Das Lätzte Loch”), the recordings for Tape BC were made with Mach One's help. Artists such as Manny Marc , MC Bogy , Boss Aro, Mach One, Tanga Lilly, Mr. Long and King Orgasmus One (an old school friend of the gynecologist, at that time he called himself Orgasmus 69 and appears for the first time) worked on it .
