The spreading violence or animal pornographic writings in Germany according to § 184a of the Criminal Code (CC), a sexual criminal offense , which with imprisonment up to three years or fine will be punished.

The wording of Section 184a of the German Criminal Code Distribution of violent or animal pornographic writings is:

Anyone who has pornographic writings (Section 11, Paragraph 3) that deals with violence or sexual acts by people with animals,

1. disseminates or makes available to the public or
2. manufactures, procures, delivers, holds in stock, offers, advertises, imports or exports in order to use them or items obtained from them within the meaning of number 1 or Section 184d (1) sentence 1 or to assign such use to another person enable,

is punished with imprisonment for up to three years or with a fine. In the cases of sentence 1 number 1, the attempt is punishable.

Dissemination of pornographic literature

According to § 184 ff. StGB, the distribution of pornographic writings is not generally punishable. In 2007, a total of 15,953 offenses (§§ 184, 184a, 184b, 184c StGB) were recorded in the German police crime statistics (PKS) .

The exact extent of the offenses cannot be determined using statistics (PKS, convict statistics, etc.). Due to different recording periods / dates and other influencing factors, these statistics are not comparable in Germany.
