The etching is a German musician - Duo which the genres in their songs Electro , hip-hop and pop combined and the 2008 by rappers gynecologist and Manny Marc in Berlin was founded. They became known with the song Das geht ab! (We party all night) .
history
First time collaboration
The first collaboration between the gynecologist and the then DJ Manny Marc came about when her label Bassboxxx was founded in 1997. In 2006 it was renamed Ghetto Music and finally Atzen Music .
Colloboration singles appeared again and again under the title Frauenarzt & Manny Marc until they worked together with Alexander Marcus under the title Die Atzen , since the first successful single Florida Lady . This was published in September 2008.
Since November 29, 2008, Frauenarzt has been presenting the weekly return rap section for Bild together with Manny Marc and other rappers around him . The rappers put the headlines of the week into short songs.
2009: first successes
In 2009 the song Das geht ab! from the album Atzen-Musik Vol. 1 to the summer hit in the discos of Palma . The gynecologist and Manny Marc therefore traveled to the Riu Palace disco every Sunday to present their joint hit. The song reached number 8 in the single charts in Germany and made it into the top 100 in the entire German-speaking region of Europe.
At the beginning of 2010 the next single Disco Pogo by Frauenarzt and Manny Marc was released, although they were only named by their name Die Atzen . The piece reached number 12 in the charts in the first week, and in the following week even climbed into the top ten at number 6, giving the single a better ranking than Das geht ab! could achieve. In the following weeks Disco Pogo even rose to number 2. The single received a lot of attention six weeks before it was actually released. On the video platform YouTube there was a video with the title Disco Pogo - We turn off !, the author of which was given as TBA (to be announced). Later it turned out that the original version came from the Disco Pogo Crew , which consists of the Seaside Clubbers , Ricky Rich (Ricky Bernasconi) and the house producer Tom Pulse. Due to an incorrect introduction to a program on the Internet radio station Technobase.fm, the video was incorrectly used as the successor single of Atzen to Das geht ab! (We party all night) acted, which was simply wrong at the time. Due to the high popularity of the single on the Internet, the Atzen Disco Pogo decided to record it themselves. The title, the introductory sentence What is going on? It's party time! as well as some text passages taken over.
2010–2011: Atzen Musik Vol. 2 and Party Chaos
Atzen Musik Vol. 2 was released on February 26, 2010 and reached number 5 in the German album charts. In Austria it was also able to storm the top 10 and also move up into the top 50 in Switzerland . In addition to their own tracks, it also consists of other songs from their genre.
The third single from the album is titled Atzin and was released on April 2, 2010. This single could also reach the German and Austrian charts. However, there is no original version of this track, only two remixes. The Atzen Music Remix and the Michael Mind Project Remix .
In July 2010, Rock die Scheiße fat, the last release of the album, was released. With this song they appeared at the Ballermann Hits 2010 in Bulgaria , with which they won this. Then the title was able to enter the German and Austrian charts. 34th place in Germany and 47th place in Austria.
On March 18, 2011, her third studio album was released with the title Party Chaos . This also reached the album charts of the entire German-speaking area of Europe. In Germany, it rose the highest with 15th place.
In April 2011, the first single Strobo Pop was released together with Nena . This was also a great success and was able to conquer the Swiss charts again. In Germany it was even in the top 15.
The second and last single from Party Chaos was called Hasta La Atze and was a minor hit in Germany at number 74.
2012 – today Atzen Music Vol. 3
On May 18, 2012 the album Atzen Musik Vol. 3 and the single Party (Ich will abgehn) were released. The album reached number 16 in Germany and number 73 in Switzerland. The title song was mixed by the Michael Mind Project and also became a success. In Germany he reached the top 100 for seven and in Austria for two weeks.
In August 2012, the second and last single from the album was released. Was it celebrating? OK! and was mixed by the Swiss DJs DJ Antoine and Mad Mark . However, they could not achieve single-chart placements with the dubstep song.
In an episode of the television program Late Night Berlin broadcast in September 2019 , the etchings are part of a production that is not marked as such ( scripted reality ).

- Manny Marc (born April 21, 1980 in Berlin-Tempelhof as Marc Schneider ) is, in addition to his work as a rapper, also a music producer and DJ . He is also a member of the South Berlin rap group Bass Crew. At the beginning of his career, his voice was mostly distorted like a robot. His voice was also edited for his pseudonym Freddy Krüger.
- Gynecologist (born October 18, 1978 in Berlin-Tempelhof as Vincente de Teba Költerhoff ) was active under many different pseudonyms. Musically he represented the Miami Bass with German lyrics, later his music changed to Ghetto Tech . Many of his tracks have a strong 80s electro character with dry TR-808 beats.
