King Orgasm One
King Orgasmus One (born December 9, 1979 in Berlin ; bourgeois Manuel Romeike ) is a German rapper , label boss and porn producer . In addition to this pseudonym , he uses other name variants .
In his songs he mostly raps about parties, drugs , sex and violence. He also describes himself as the “toughest rapper in Germany” and a “ misogynist ”. Several of his publications have been indexed by the Federal Inspectorate for Media Harmful to Young People .
He acts as a producer and cameraman in his films and appears in short skits .
Career
King Orgasmus One started DJing records in 1996 and began rapping on the music.
Until 1998 he worked under the pseudonym Def Bringer. Then as an ear gas . The name was later changed to Orgasm Then Orgasm One .
On his first official track, King Orgasmus One can be heard with his old schoolmate gynecologist , who among other things also produced his tape "Sexkönig".
The first two albums by King Orgasmus One were published on the Bassboxxx label . The second album was released under the title "There is no battle" (2000). A year later, King Orgasmus One left the label and founded his own label I Luv Money Records , which also released his third album "Tag der Abrechnung". The fourth album was released under the title Mein Kampf - music for men , his fifth with the title "Fick Mich ... and shut your mouth" was indexed by the federal inspection agency for media harmful to minors. The SPD politician Monika Griefahn (then chairwoman of the media committee in the German Bundestag) said in June 2005 that some of the titles by King Orgasmus One and other German rappers were “misogynistic and partly right-wing extremist” and “full of violence and pornography”. She also called for greater scrutiny of hip-hop songs and videos on radio and television. His debut Sexkönig was confiscated by the Tiergarten District Court on May 19, 2006 in the CD version of the album because of violent pornographic content . Romeike's other albums were submitted to the Federal Testing Office for Media Harmful to Young People for examination and indexed in Germany.
On July 6, 2007, King Orgasm's eighth solo album La petite mort was released . This includes guest contributions from MC Basstard , Taktlo $$ , B-Tight , Tarek from KIZ , Bass Sultan Hengzt and Isar, among others . The album Currywurst mit Darm , which the rapper recorded under the pseudonym Imbiss Bronko , followed on October 19 .
From June 6th to 7th, 2008 King Orgasmus One appeared as the headliner at the first German porn rap festival in Philippsburg . The event took place in the SwingerClub Karree.
On October 1st, 2009 the indexing of the Orgi Pörnchen 5 sampler was announced by the Federal Testing Office for Media Harmful to Young People. Romeike, however, went into revision. The verdict is still pending. (As of November 2018)
On September 21, 2018, King Orgasmus One's studio album Welcome to the Hood was released , with which he reached the German charts for the first time and reached number 5.
Television appearances
On April 10, 2007, King Orgasmus One took part in a discussion on ARD on the subject of earlier, harder, more unromantic - sex without love? part. The discussion took place as part of the TV show Menschen bei Maischberger and was moderated by Alice Schwarzer , who represented Sandra Maischberger , who was on maternity leave . Bushido was originally supposed to take part in the discussion, but it had canceled, so King Orgasmus One was invited as a replacement.
As part of the program, Romeike was confronted with one of his misogynistic lyrics and confirmed, among other things, that he had been making pornographic films and the like for several years. a. produce in Prague. Romeike could not understand the criticism of his texts. When asked why he portrayed women as externally determined whores and inferior subjects, he appealed to freedom of art and irony , but admitted that his girlfriend did not like German-language rap music. He did not want to accept Schwarzer's comparison of the actions described in the songs with forced, real sexual crimes. He described his texts as erotic and took the view that it was a kind of art. The aim is to create a party atmosphere. He also pointed out that his repertoire is not limited to porn-only texts. Romeike sees the responsibility for the radicalization of the texts with the consumer (“whether music or porn - people always want harder things”). He also tried to point out that rap music is not the only industry that uses sex and violence to sell something.
The show in general and Romeike's appearance in particular was heavily criticized in several newspaper reports. The reports expressed that Romeike had apparently been overwhelmed with the conversation situation and the discussion topic.
Pseudonyms
Romeike appeared in many songs with different aliases derived from King Orgasmus One , e.g. B. Orgi , Orgi69 , Orgasm , King Orgasm . In 2007 Currywurst with intestines appeared under the pseudonym Imbiss Bronko . He also gave himself the names Scheich Manfred , Todesbringer , DJ Irmgard , Lanola Bombalock , Raparschloch , Dicktator , Manuel Hitler and Bass Orakel on various albums .
