Charo López
Charo López (actually María del Rosario López Piñuelas ; born October 28, 1943 in Salamanca ) is a Spanish actress .
Life
López turned to acting after studying philosophy and psychology, during which she was seen in university theater productions, and took lessons at the "Escuela Oficial de Cinematografía" in Madrid . From 1967 she starred in television series and films; after his breakthrough with Gonzalo Suárez ' Diatrambo , several works appeared under his direction. Even greater success was achieved when López, whose photogenicity and beauty were praised, embodied "Morena Alba" in the 1981 television series Los gozos y las sombras . She has worked with great directors such as Mario Camus , Vicente Aranda and Pedro Almodóvar . Between 1987 and 1989 she realized several theater projects in Argentina ; López intensified stage work since the mid-1990s.
The multiple award-winning actress has to date been seen in almost 100 roles for film and television. López was married twice; with the author and filmmaker Jesús García Dueñas from 1965 to 1971 and with the publisher Carlos Gabetta from 1988 to 1993.
