Donald M. Morgan

Donald Maxwell Morgan (born February 11, 1932 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American cameraman .

Life

Morgan began his career as a freelance cameraman in the early 1970s. Since the end of the decade, his focus has been on television production. His work includes more than 70 films. He has won the Emmy five times . In 2007 the American Society of Cinematographers presented him with the Television Career Achievement Award. He won the ASC Award four times.

With Elvis - The King (1978), Christine (1983) and Starman (1984) he was involved in three films by John Carpenter . He had previously worked twice with Sidney Poitier and Robert Zemeckis . Much more often he worked with the directors Joseph Sargent and Roger Young .
