The Route nationale 75 , or N 75 or RN 75 for short , was a French national road .

history

The road existed from 1824 to 2006. From 1824 it ran from Tournus to Aspres-sur-Buëch . This goes back to route 93 impériale. It also received a section of route impériale 103. Its length was 282.5 kilometers. In 1842 it was extended to the N93 north of Serres. The length grew by 8 kilometers. In 1949 it was extended to the N85 north of Sisteron. To do this, it took over the route of the N93. The length was now 323 kilometers. In 1973 the section between Tournus and the N79 was graduated, the N79 took over the section of the N75 to Bourg-en-Bresse in 1978, which it interrupted until then. In 2006 the N75 was completely phased out. The N75 ran over the Col de la Croix-Haute , which is 1179 meters above sea level. From 1943 the N75 was routed west around Voreppe. The N520 A took over the southern part of its old route ; the N520 E was formed from the north . The road underwent another change in the 1970s, when it was already led south of Lagnieu across the Rhône and then continued from there on the other side of the river. The passage through Saint-Sorlin-en-Bugey has been graduated.

N1075

The N1075 was a branch of the N75 from 1992 to 2006, which immediately ran west from Voiron to junction 10 of the A48. Today it bears the number D1076. The number N1075 is currently being used for a side branch of the A75, starting at junction 39 and ending at the D809.

N2075

The N2075 was 1933-2006 a side branch of the N75, which, when it was moved to newly commissioned western bypass emerged from this as a road through Langieu. Today it has the number D20 A .
