The municipality is located in the French Alps . The altitude varies between 727 and 2063 meters above sea level. The place is on the Buëch , 26 kilometers west of Gap . In Aspres the highways Valence -Gap ( Route nationale 93 ) and Grenoble - Sisteron ( Route nationale 75 ) cross.
