Monêtier-Allemont is 14 kilometers from Laragne-Montéglin and 26 kilometers from Gap and borders on Vitrolles to the north, Claret to the east, Ventavon to the south and west and Barcillonnette to the northwest . The town is passed by the Départementstrasse D 1085, here part of the Route Napoléon .
