The canton of Laragne-Montéglin is a French constituency in the Hautes-Alpes in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It comprises eleven municipalities in the Gap arrondissement and has its main town (French: bureau centralisateur ) in Laragne-Montéglin .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Laragne-Montéglin included the seven municipalities of Eyguians , Laragne-Montéglin , Lazer , Le Poët , Monêtier-Allemont , Upaix and Ventavon . Its layout corresponded to an area of 143.47 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 0512.
