The Canton Veynes is a French constituency in the Hautes-Alpes in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It includes eight communities in the Gap arrondissement and has its main town (French: bureau centralisateur ) in Veynes .

Until the reorganization, the canton of Veynes included the 8 municipalities of Chabestan , Châteauneuf-d'Oze , Furmeyer , Le Saix , Montmaur , Oze , Saint-Auban-d'Oze and Veynes . Its layout corresponded to an area of 191.46 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 0524.
