The canton of Chorges is a French administrative unit in the department of Hautes-Alpes in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It comprises 17 communities in the Gap arrondissement and has its main town (French: bureau centralisateur ) in Chorges .

Until the reorganization, the eight municipalities of Bréziers , Chorges , Espinasses , Prunières , Remollon , Rochebrune , Rousset and Théus belonged to the canton of Chorges . Its layout corresponded to an area of 160.66 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 0507.
