The canton of Gap-2 is a French administrative unit in the department of Hautes-Alpes in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It covers part of the city of Gap in the Gap arrondissement of the same name . As a result of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons, it was newly created in 2015 with Gap as the main town (French:  bureau centralisateur ).
