The village is at 652 m . The municipality mark extends to the 1734 m high Mont Colombis in the Maritime Alps . Espinasses is bordered by Montgardin to the north, Chorges to the northeast, Rousset to the east, Ubaye-Serre-Ponçon with La Bréole (point of contact) to the southeast, Rochebrune to the south and Théus to the west .
