The Communauté de communes Serre-Ponçon Val d'Avance is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the departments of Hautes-Alpes and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It was founded on October 28, 2016 and comprises 16 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in La Bâtie-Neuve . A special feature is the cross-departmental structure of the member communities.

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

with the departure of the community of Chorges from the Communauté de communes de la Vallée de l'Avance , which joined the new Communauté de communes Serre-Ponçon .
