The Communauté de communes Alpes Provence Verdon (also nicknamed "Sources de Lumière" ) is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It was founded on November 24, 2016 and comprises 41 parishes. The administrative headquarters are located in Saint-André-les-Alpes .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

• Communauté de communes du Haut-Verdon Val d'Allos ,
• Communauté de communes du Pays d'Entrevaux ,
• Communauté de communes du Teillon and
• Communauté de communes Terres de Lumière .
