Moriez is located on the Asse de Moriez river , on Route nationale 202 and the meter-gauge railway line Nice – Digne-les-Bains . The neighboring communities are Lambruisse in the north, Saint-André-les-Alpes in the east and south, Senez in the south-west, Barrême and Saint-Lions in the west and Clumanc in the north-west.
