Senez is a commune with 167 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the arrondissement of Castellane and the canton of Riez .
Until the Concordat of 1801 , the place was the bishopric for the diocese of Senez .
