Peyroules is a French municipality with 240 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the canton of Castellane in the arrondissement of the same name .

geography

The community is a scattered settlement and is located on the Crête de la Blachette. To the west is the hamlet of La Bâtie and to the east La Foux. The Artuby River has its source in Peyroules . The neighboring municipalities are Soleilhas in the north, Saint-Auban in the northeast, Valderoure in the southeast, Châteauvieux in the south, La Garde in the west and Demandolx (point of contact) in the northwest.
