The Artuby is a river in France that runs in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region . It rises in the Verdon Regional Nature Park , in the municipality of Peyroules , initially drains in a south-westerly direction, later turning to north-west, forms the 18-kilometer-long and up to 200-meter-deep Canyon de l'Artuby in its lower reaches and flows after 54 kilometers at La Mescla , in the municipality of Rougon , as a left tributary to the Verdon . On its way, the Artuby touches the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence , Alpes-Maritimes and Var departments .
