La Martre is a French municipality with 211 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Var in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Draguignan and the Canton of Flayosc .
geography
The municipality is located around ten kilometers southeast of Castellane on the border with the neighboring Alpes-Maritimes department . The neighboring municipalities are Châteauvieux in the north, Séranon in the east (Département Alpes-Maritimes), La Bastide in the southeast, Bargème in the south and Brenon in the west. The Artuby River runs through the municipality . La Martre is located in the Verdon Regional Nature Park .
