Vidauban is a French municipality with 11,907 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Var department in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the canton of Vidauban in the Arrondissement of Draguignan .

Vidauban lies on the banks of the Argens and its tributary Aille .

Since the early 1980s, Vidauban has seen strong population growth. Within 20 years, the population more than doubled.
Personalities
The French historian Henri Michel (1907–1986) was born in Vidauban. The town's primary school bears his name.
