Vidauban is a French municipality with 11,907 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Var department in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the canton of Vidauban in the Arrondissement of Draguignan .

Vidauban lies on the banks of the Argens and its tributary Aille .

Personalities

The French historian Henri Michel (1907–1986) was born in Vidauban. The town's primary school bears his name.
