Attractions
In the center of town there is a 16th century church, green marble gateways and arched passageways.
Port-Cogolin , five kilometers from the city, has a sandy beach and a large marina with 1,800 berths, which mimics the style of neighboring Port Grimaud .
The ground floor of the municipal cinema houses a museum dedicated to the career of the actor and comedian Raimu (1883–1946) from Toulon : posters and photos of his theater roles (white and black), his films (The Baker's Wife, The Daughter of Brunnenmachers, Cesar, Fanny etc.), as well as personal items and letters.
The clock tower from the 14th century rises on a hilltop, the only remnant of the old castle (access at the end of Rue Nationale via Montée de l'Horloge). If you go back down on the left side, you come to Place Bellevue, where the Ste-Croix chapel is decorated with modern works of art.
The church of St-Sauveur contains structural remains from the 11th century and has a beautiful Renaissance serpentine portal. In a side chapel inside there is an interesting altarpiece by Hurlupin (1540), dedicated to St. Anthony accompanied by St. Eligius and St. Pontianus shows, as well as a beautiful baroque bust from the 17th century.
