La Bastide is a French municipality with 205 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Var in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Draguignan and the Canton of Flayosc .
geography
The municipality is located around 37 kilometers (as the crow flies) northwest of Cannes on the border with the neighboring Alpes-Maritimes department . Neighboring municipalities are La Martre in the north-west and north, Séranon in the north and east (Département Alpes-Maritimes), Mons in the south-east, La Roque-Esclapon in the south and Bargème in the west.
