Attractions
- The church of San Rafeu , built in the 12th century in Romanesque-Provencal style, also served as a fortress. Since the tower is reminiscent of the military buildings of the Templars, the church is sometimes incorrectly referred to as the Templar Church. From the church tower there is a remarkable panorama over the city, the modern church in Byzantine style, the Gulf of Fréjus and the beach as well as the Massif des Maures in the hinterland.
- The Notre-Dame de la Victoire basilica was built in the middle of the 19th century to commemorate the victory of the Christian Mediterranean powers against the fleet of Sultan Selim II under Admiral Ali Pasha in the sea battle of Lepanto . It was not until 2004 that the church was given the title of Basilica by John Paul II .
- The Dolmen de la Gastée (also Dolmen de la Gastet) are located near Saint-Raphaël (east of Cabasse). They are Neolithic megalithic systems.
