Johnny Pacar

Johnny Pacar (* 6. June 1981 in Dearborn , Michigan as Johnny Edward PĂCURARU ) is an American actor and musician of Romanian descent, primarily for his role as Cody Jackson in the television series Flight 29 Down , and as Damon Young in ABC -Family series Make It or Break It became known.

Life

Born on June 6, 1981 in Dearborn , Michigan , Johnny Pacar grew up in Wayne and always wanted to entertain people as a teenager. He was an avid ice hockey player and always dreamed of playing in the NHL one day . However, he chose a different path when he began taking acting classes and initially performing in local theaters. In high school, he formed a few punk rock bands and took acting classes in his school. After graduating from Wayne Memorial High School, he moved from Michigan to Los Angeles in May 2001 .

He currently lives in Los Angeles .

Career

Acting career

After two months in Los Angeles, Pacar got an agent and shot a commercial for Sprite . He played one of his first roles in Boston Public . He then took on guest roles in Tru Calling - Schicksal reloaded! , Just in case, Amy , George Lopez , CSI: Miami , Medium - Nothing Hides and Eli Stone . In the Disney Channel original movie The Greatest Magician in the World (2005) he starred as Danny Sinclair .

Larger He gained fame for his role as Cody Jackson in the Discovery Kids - Kids series Flight 29 Down , which was produced between 2005 and 2007. Pacar played there from the first up to and including the second season and in the final television film Flight 29 Down: The Hotel Tango . From 2009 he was then seen as Damon Young in the series Make It or Break It produced for ABC Family . Still a supporting role during the first season, he was promoted to lead actor for the second season. After leaving in 2011, he appears in an episode of the television series Warehouse 13 , where he played the role of Dwayne Maddox . That same year he also took on a leading role alongside Ving Rhames in Syfy's Zombie Apocalypse .

In 2012 Pacar appeared in the action film Channeling and alongside Christian Slater in the horror film Playback . He also played a leading role in the Sony- produced thriller The Remaining , which was released in 2014.

Music career

In addition to acting, Pacar also pursues a music career. In 2010 he released his own solo EP Moment of Time on iTunes . He also plays with his former co-star Cody Longo in the band Forever the Day (formerly Fairlene ). The band released their first EP Under the Afterglow in August 2010 , followed by their second EP Letters of Letting Go in February 2012.

Pacar also released a new solo album called Give It Our Love in March 2013 .
