The Communauté de communes Serre-Ponçon is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the departments of Hautes-Alpes and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It was founded on November 2, 2016 and comprises 17 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Embrun . A special feature is the cross-departmental structure of the member communities.

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

with access to the commune of Chorges from the Communauté de communes de la Vallée de l'Avance and the commune of Pontis from the Communauté de communes Vallée de l'Ubaye .
