The Communauté de communes du Guillestrois du et Queyras is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Hautes-Alpes in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It was founded on October 24, 2016 and comprises 15 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Guillestre .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

With effect from January 1, 2019, the previously independent municipalities Abriès and Ristolas were merged to form Commune nouvelle Abriès-Ristolas , which was incorporated into the municipal association. This reduced the number of member communities from 16 to 15.
