Abriès-Ristolas is a French municipality with 385 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Hautes-Alpes in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Briançon and the Canton of Guillestre .

It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019, when the previous municipalities Abriès and Ristolas were merged and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Abriès.

Abriès-Ristolas, the easternmost municipality in the department , is located in the French Alps and borders in the north, east and south on the Italian region of Piémont and thus on the municipalities of Sauze di Cesana , Cesana Torinese , Prali , Bobbio Pellice , Crissolo and Pontechianale . Neighboring municipalities in France are Cervières , Aiguilles and Molines-en-Queyras .
