Villar-Saint-Pancrade (also Grandvillars or Le Villar is called) is a commune in the Hautes-Alpes in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the canton of Briançon-1 in the arrondissement of Briançon . The residents call themselves the Viarans or Vialans.

Villar-Saint-Pancrade located in the region of the French Alps and bordered to the north Briancon , in the east of Cervières , in the southeast on Arvieux , on the south by La Roche de Rame , on the west by Saint-Martin-de-Queyrières and in the north-west on Puy-Saint-André .
