Idlib District
The Idlib District ( Arabic منطقة مركز إدلب, DMG Minṭaqat Markaz Idlib ) is one of five districts (Mintaqa) in the Idlib Governorate in Syria . It is divided into seven sub-districts (Nahiya): Markaz Idlib, Abu z-Zuhur , Binnisch, Maʿarrat Misrin, Saraqib , Sarmin and Taftanaz .
The seat of the district administration is Idlib . With an area of 1437 km², the population at the 2004 census was around 385,000.
