The Communauté de communes du Guillestrois was a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Hautes-Alpes in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It was named after the Guillestrois landscape , was founded on December 31, 2000 and comprised eight parishes. The administrative seat was in Guillestre .

Historical development

In 1965, today's member congregations merged to form a SIVOM . On January 1, 2001, this was transformed into the Communauté de communes du Guillestrois .

On January 1, 2017, the community association was merged with the Communauté de communes du Queyras to form the new Communauté de communes du Guillestrois et du Queyras .
