Méreuil is a French commune in the Hautes-Alpes in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the canton of Serres in the Gap arrondissement .

geography

In the east, the Buëch white water river largely forms the border with Le Bersac and Montrond . On the Méreuil side, it receives streams such as the Torrent de Primourinc and the Torrent de Rabasse. The other neighboring municipalities are Serres in the north, Trescléoux in the south, Chanousse in the south-west and Montclus in the north-west.
