The Hunters Hill stone (also called Glamis 1) is a Pictish symbol stone . It stands beside a dirt road that runs through Lera Wood, south of the A94 (road) on the north flank of Hunters Hill, east of Glamis . Glamis is a village in the Scottish Unitary Authority Angus and the traditional Scottish county of Forfarshire. It is located about 35 km northeast of Perth and 17 km north of Dundee in Scotland .

The symbol stone on Hunters Hill is likely in situ . Pict stones are divided into two “classes”. Class I are natural stones with incisions, while the later “Class II stones” have reliefs. The Hunters Hill Stone is both. Originally a carved natural stone, it was later provided with a relief on the back. The other stone that has been reused in this way is the symbol stone of Glamis Manse about 800 m to the west .

The Hunters Hill stone is 1.5 m high, 0.7 m wide and very slim with only 14 cm thick. The carvings are partially weathered and covered with lichen. However, it is possible to see a cross on the eastern side. The quadrants of the stone show an angelic being, a pair of damaged figures, a pair of four-legged animals and a pair of deer.

The western side of the stone is less noticeable. It is still possible to see a rather faint scratch of an animal over a clearly recognizable snake. On the other hand, it is not certain that a mirror is carved underneath the snake.

The Hunters Hill stone belongs to the "Aberlemno School of Pictish Sculpture". In addition to the stone by Glamis Manse, this school includes the Aberlemno 2 (Kirkyard Stone), Aberlemno 3, Menmuir 1, Kirriemuir 1, Monifieth 2, Eassie and the Rossie Priory Stone.
