Garde-Colombe is a French municipality with 539 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Hautes-Alpes in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the arrondissement of Gap and the canton of Serres .
It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2016 by a decree of October 2, 2015, according to which the previous municipalities of Eyguians , Lagrand and Saint-Genis were merged. The first-named place is the main place (Chef-lieu). Edmond Francou was elected mayor ( Maire ) for the 2016-2020 term .
