La Chapelle-en-Valgaudémar is a French commune in the Hautes-Alpes in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the canton of Saint-Bonnet-en-Champsaur in the Gap arrondissement .

geography

The village center is located at 1050  m in the Maritime Alps . Three thousand meter peaks in the municipality are called L'Olan ( 3564  m ), Les Bans ( 3669  m ), Le Sirac ( 3440  m ) and Vieux Chaillol ( 3163  m ). The municipality borders in the northwest on Valjouffrey , in the north on Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans , in the east on Vallouise-Pelvoux with Vallouise , in the south on Champoléon , in the southwest on La Motte-en-Champsaur and in the west on Saint-Jacques- en-Valgodemard and Villar-Loubière .
