Valjouffrey is a French municipality with 135 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Grenoble and belongs to the canton of Matheysine-Trièves (until 2015: canton of Valbonnais ). The inhabitants are called Sapparys .

Valjouffrey is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Le Bourg-d'Oisans and Les Deux-Alpes in the north, Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans in the east and northeast, La Chapelle-en-Valgaudémar in the southeast, Villar-Loubière in the south and southeast, Saint -Maurice-en-Valgodemard and Saint-Firmin in the south, Apres-lès-Corps in the south and south-west, La Salette-Fallavaux in the south-west, Entraigues in the west and Le Périer in the north-west.
