Saint-André-en-Royans is a French municipality with 315 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Grenoble and the canton of Le Sud Grésivaudan (until 2015 Pont-en-Royans ). The inhabitants are called Andréens .

Saint-André-en-Royans is about 33 kilometers west-southwest of Grenoble . The municipality belongs to the Vercors Regional Nature Park . Saint-André-en-Royans is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Romans in the north and northeast, Presles in the east and northeast, Choranche in the east and southeast, Pont-en-Royans in the south, Auberives-en-Royans in the southwest and Saint- Just-de-Claix in the west.
