Saint-Aupre is about 23 kilometers north-northwest of Grenoble . Saint-Aupre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Merlas in the north, Miribel-les-Échelles in the east and north-east, Saint-Joseph-de-Rivière in the south and south-east, Saint-Étienne-de-Crossey in the south and south-west and Saint-Nicolas- de-maker in the west.
