Crêts en Belle Donne (in German: The crowns of Belledonne Mountains ) is a French municipality with 3339 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Grenoble and the canton of Haut-Grésivaudan (until 2015 Allevard ). The inhabitants are called Belcrétois .

On January 1, 2016, Crêts en Belledonne was formed as Commune nouvelle from the previously independent communities of Morêtel-de-Mailles and Saint-Pierre-d'Allevard . Only the former municipality of Morêtel-de-Mailles has the status of a Commune déléguée .

Crêts en Belledonne is a municipality in the Grésivaudan and in the Belledonne massif . Crêts en Belledonne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Allevard in the north, Pinsot in the east, La Ferrière in the south-east, Theys in the south, Goncelin in the south-west, Le Cheylas in the west and Pontcharra in the north-west.
