Vaulnaveys-le-Haut is about 15 kilometers southeast of Grenoble . Vaulnaveys-le-Haut is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martin-d'Uriage in the north, Chamrousse in the east, Séchilienne in the south and south-east, Vaulnaveys-le-Bas in the south, Brié-et-Angonnes in the west and Herbeys in the north-west.
