Vaulnaveys-le-Haut is a French municipality with 3867 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the Grenoble-Alpes-Métropole municipal association , the Arrondissement Grenoble and is part of the canton of Oisans-Romanche . The inhabitants are called Vaulnaviards .
geography
Vaulnaveys-le-Haut is about 15 kilometers southeast of Grenoble . Vaulnaveys-le-Haut is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martin-d'Uriage in the north, Chamrousse in the east, Séchilienne in the south and south-east, Vaulnaveys-le-Bas in the south, Brié-et-Angonnes in the west and Herbeys in the north-west.
