Bresson is a French commune in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It has 684 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) and is part of the Arrondissement of Grenoble and part of the canton of Échirolles (until 2015: canton of Eybens ). The inhabitants are called Bressonais .

Bresson is about six kilometers south-southeast of Grenoble . Bresson is surrounded by its neighboring communities Eybens in the north, Poisat in the east and northeast, Brié-et-Angonnes in the east and southeast, Jarrie in the south and west and Échirolles in the west and northwest.
