Saint-Théoffrey is a French municipality with 521 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ). The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Grenoble and belongs to the canton of Matheysine-Trièves (until 2015 canton of La Mure ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Théoffreydois .

Saint-Théoffrey is about 22 kilometers south of Grenoble . Saint-Théoffrey is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Laffrey in the north, Cholonge in the east and northeast, Villard-Saint-Christophe in the east and southeast, Pierre-Châtel in the south, Notre-Dame-de-Vaulx in the west and Saint-Jean-de- Vaulx to the west and northwest.

The national route 85 runs through the municipality .
