Oris-en-Rattier is a French municipality with 114 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ). The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Grenoble and belongs to the canton of Matheysine-Trièves (until 2015: canton of Valbonnais ).

Oris-en-Rattier is about 40 kilometers south-southeast of Grenoble . The Roizonne River runs along the western municipal boundary . Oris-en-Rattier is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lavaldens in the north, Le Périer in the east, Valbonnais in the south and south-east, Siévoz in the south and south-west and La Valette in the west.
